if you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there
- George Harrison

Life is often thought of as a Journey. Certainly Life takes many twists and turns, the road can be smooth or rough or rocky or mountainous. Sometimes we have an easy passage and sometimes it challenges us so much that we are forever changed. Often the Journey is interrupted by obstacles and we need help to either get them out of the way or figure out how to move around them.

There are times we have created the obstacles, there are times they just appear before us. Either way, this is the Life Journey. If an obstacle appears before you- your job is to find a way to resolve it; not live with it, not ignore it, not assume it was your fault or someone else’s fault. Your job is to keep moving through life. Any time you stop, become stuck, become trapped, become stagnant - you have stopped the Journey. Expect for this to happen now and then. It is your mission to recognize what has happenedand start moving again; brush yourself off, get up, take some steps, get help and support.

Change is difficult. If you have decided that it is time for you to change (start moving on your Journey) you will have to look inside yourself, there is no way around this. You will have to face your own behaviors and choices. You will have to learn new ways to think and feel and behave. If you are a couple or family, you will need to do this together.

Change is for individuals who have the courage and willingness to have a better life. Is that you? If you have even considered change then you do have the strength inside to start the Journey - it is there within you safe and waiting for you to take your first step.
